Ahoy, young mateys! Join us for a swashbuckling splash of stories, and silly adventures—all with a pirate twist!
Poolside Pirate Storytime is a fun and imaginative reading event designed for young children and families. A Pirate Librarian will visit the Community Center's Pool for this storytime combining the joy of reading with the excitement of pirate adventures and a splash of summer fun.
Set sail for adventure every Monday at 2:00pm! Starting June 2nd through July 28th.
Don’t be late—or we’ll make ye walk the plank (just kiddin’... maybe)!
- Pirate-themed read-alouds featuring friendly buccaneers, sea creatures, treasure hunts, and silly shipmates
- Movement and water-safe fun, like pretending to swab the deck or find hidden treasures
- Literacy-building activities that promote vocabulary, listening, and imagination—all in a playful setting
Ages 2–6, but fun for the whole family.
You must have a current Community Center membership or pay the daily guest fee to participate
