Celebrate Veteran's Day with the Friends of LaGrange Memorial Library and guest speaker LaGrange local Col. Gerry Tertychny.

Col. Tertychny served with the 9th Iraqi Army Division Stability-Transition Team from September 2009 – December 2010 in Baghdad. Prior to his deployment he served as Professor of Military Science at Valley Forge Military College. After his return, Col. Tertychny served in various training positions at the US Army War College, Valley Forge Military Academy and College, Norfolk
State University and Bethel High School Junior ROTC.

Col. Tertychny recently contributed to the upcoming nonfiction title, Operation Desert Storm: How Two Young Intelligence Analysts and an Infantry Battalion Changed the War in Iraq, out November 13.
