Purpose of Meeting
Public Input Session for Troup County Comprehensive Plan Update: This meeting will provide an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to share ideas, feedback, and suggestions regarding future growth, land use, community facilities, infrastructure, and quality of life in Troup County. The location was selected specifically to provide convenience and encourage participation from residents in District 2. Input gathered will directly inform updates to the County's Comprehensive Plan, guiding local decision-making and policy development.
The Troup County Comprehensive Plan is a long-term guide for growth and development, designed to reflect the community’s vision and priorities over the next 20 years. It addresses topics such as land use, housing, transportation, economic development, natural resources, and community facilities. Regular updates to the plan ensure it remains aligned with the community's changing needs and goals, helping local officials make informed decisions on zoning, investments, and policy initiatives.
These are "drop-in" style meetings that allow people to attend at a time convenient to their work schedule.
