You're invited to experience Boot, an photography exhibition by Stephen Grote, on display from November 2nd, 2025- January 2nd, 2026 in the Community Art Gallery in the LaGrange Memorial Library.

Boot reflects the intense physical, mental, and emotional transformation recruits undergo at Parris Island—where individuality is stripped away to make room for resilience, unity, and purpose. Through relentless training, recruits are pushed to their limits, learning to overcome prejudice, trust in their fellow Marines, and replace “I” with “we.”

This exhibition is free and open to the public, presented by the Troup-Harris Regional Library. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a curious mind, or simply looking for creative inspiration, this show is not to be missed.
