Please join us for our annual African American Cultures Celebration, "A Moment in History" featuring music by the Chattahoochee Rhythm Keepers, Kenyetta Cotton, Kenyetta Hardaway- Chester, Berta Weathersbee Elementary, Troup High School, and Callaway High School Chorus. Emcees for the event will be ministers Efram and Rasheeta Jennings and joining them speaker Cheryl Stiggers. New this year is our "Wax Museum" featuring students from Troup, Callaway, and LaGrange High Schools portraying African American historical figures. Free books will be provided to patrons by United Way/ Success by 6. You don't want to miss this historically amazing event sponsored by Friends of LaGrange Memorial Library!
Do not forget to stop by the art gallery where “Big Four Corner: An African American Business District” Art Exhibit by Felecia T. Moore will be on display.
